Camp Counselors

Positions for 2020 are now available.

New Pond Farm offers a summer camp for inner-city youth from Connecticut and local children. The camp works with children 4-9 years old, and consists of five 5-day weeks, plus one week of orientation, totaling six weeks of employment. Our small and personal summer camp gives urban children a taste of life in the country and a chance to learn, work, and play on the farm along side children from towns in the immediate area. Our camp is small and personal (12 inner-city youth and 12 area children per week), allowing our summer staff to have a positive impact on the campers.

As a summer counselor you will be working on our beautiful 102-acre property. Facilities include an air-conditioned bunkhouse on the second floor of our Learning Center, a full kitchen, bathrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a classroom, and variety of outdoor teaching stations. Daily activities include science lessons, hiking, gardening, swimming, arts & crafts, games, and more!

New Pond Farm is Alcohol, Drug, and Smoke free.
