The Light Brahma is a very old breed of feather-footed chickens that originated from Asia.

Light Brahmas are exceptionally quiet, gentle, and easy to handle. Their small pea comb, great size, and heavy feathering make them almost immune to cold weather. Hens are good brown egg layers, especially in winter. 

Light Brahma baby chicks are creamy white, with some gray on their back.
